history;; Emmet's early life before he became a vampire is never fully explained in the series. Emmett McCarty was changed into a vampire by Dr. Carlisle Cullen in 1935, two years after Rosalie Hale had been changed. When Rosalie came across him, Emmett was being mauled by a bear in the mountains of Tennessee. He had nearly died from the attack, but Rosalie saved him and carried him over a hundred miles back to Carlisle. Rosalie was noted as saying that it took nearly all her strength not to kill him. She also said that she brought him to Carlisle so that he, with his stronger endurance of human blood, could save Emmett. She also said that the reason behind having Carlisle save Emmett and not herself was because she was afraid that if she did it she would end up killing him. Emmett describes this experience as "being saved by an angel who brought him to God". Once Rosalie returned to Carlisle with Emmett, he was changed into a vampire. Many years later, Rosalie confessed to Bella that she saved Emmett from sure death because his innocence, dimples, and curly hair reminded her of her best friend Vera's child, Henry, and that ever since the day she saw Henry she always wanted a baby just like him.
After his painful transformation, Rosalie and Carlisle explained to Emmett that he was a vampire. This did not upset him, however, like Rosalie and Carlisle had thought it would. He put in his own words, "Hell's not so bad if you get to keep an angel with you." He did, however, initially have trouble adjusting to the Cullens' rule of only feeding on animals, and has tasted human blood on several occasions. Emmett later married Rosalie.

rp sample;;Elizabeth Grimmes, co-owner of Sun Set Valley, was sitting in her office, going over a new student file. She had only gotten the file late the night before, and from what she had read so far, she could tell Jason was going to be a handful . . . at first at least.
It wasn't like she hadn't had deal with a student like Jason. After all the school had been open for almost three years. Liz smiled to herself and sat down the file.
"Another lost child." She said out loud.
Liz had a habit of talking out loud to herself, when no one else was in the room. It helped her think better, when she did that.
She brushed her light brown hair out of her face and stood up. She picked up her coffee mug and refilled it. It was then the sound of tires on rocks reaching her ears.
She couldn't have stopped the smile that jumped onto her face, even if she wanted to.
With the cup of coffee in her right hand, Liz left her office. She paused long enough to make sure the door was locked, and headed to the front area.
Liz wasn't sure what kind of mood Jason was going to be in, when they met, but she was going to be ready for anything.
The scene that reached her eyes as she walked down the hall caused her eye brows to wrinkle together. She knew Jason had been in a bit of trouble, but for some reason she had thought either his brother or sister would bring him in.
She walked over to the officer and held out her left hand.
"Hello, I'm Liz Grimmes." She said with a smile.
"Officer Saxton." The male answered, returning Liz's hand shake, but not the smile.
That didn't seem to bother Liz. She was use to the fact that most officers don't seem to like anyone at Sun Set Valley.
"I have it from here Officer Saxton. You can release him now. We don't believe in doing that here."
Officer Saxton shrugged, released Jason's hands and looked Liz in the eyes.
"He's your problem now."
And with that Office Saxton left. He got into his car and drove off.
The older woman looked at the young male and smiled at him.
"Now that is done with." She paused and took a drink of her coffee, "Shall we get on with this now? Just follow me to my office, and we can get everything done with and then I'll show you to your cabin."
