It has been a year since the incident in Breaking Dawn. Everything was supposedly happily ever after. There was a truce between the Cullens and werewolves, giving the Cullens the freedom to enter La Push. But when people are found dead on the reservation, the wolves start to retaliate against the Cullens again. With Renesmee as their only link to the wolf pack, it is up to her to salvage any peace between the two groups. Meanwhile, the Volturi are plotting to kidnap Renesmee and make her one of their own.
